Organized by Wolfgang. Total: 7 persons. Walking time: 5 hours. Map: IGN 3430ET.
Access: Geneva->A40 Exit No18->Scionzier D4->D286 Mont-Saxonnex-> Morsulaz. (around 1 hour)
Trail direction: Morsulaz, chairlift(1240m)-> Lac Bénit -> Col d'Encrenaz -> Croix d'Encrenaz (1998m)-> Col D'Encrenaz -> la Cha (1525m) -> St-Bruno(1243m) near le Reposoir.
We were divided into two groups for the descent at Col d'Encrenaz. I followed the group descending the easier southern trail to St-Bruno. Another group returned to our starting point Morsulaz and later picked us up at St-Bruno by car.
It's much easier to walk from the south side. You can leave the car at Gîte d'étape Malatrait (1325m)near le Reposoir. Follow a jeep road to la Cha, climb to Croix d'Encrenaz, walk on the ridge to le Petit Bargy, Tête des Bécus, and descend to la Cha by another trail.
